9038 Large Avon Bowl with 2.5" Pinholder
Our large Avon bowl is a black plastic bowl with a special plastic ring inside which enables a pinholder or foam anchor to be simply clipped inside. The bowl is 4.75" (12 cm) diameter at the top and 1.75" (4.5 cm) deep. This one comes with a 2.5" (64 mm) diameter round pinholder clipped inside, which is interchangeable with a 2.5" diameter foam anchor or a 2.5" diameter candle pinholder. The pinholder, kenzan or frog is moulded in lead and has a dense array of brass pins, so it will not rust. The tapered sides of the bowl allow stems to easily be laid out to the sides, if desired. The whole thing weighs approximately 415g, but our tapered well pinholders are the same shape and made entirely from lead if a heavier bowl is required. Perfect for ikebana. Individually boxed.
